(Working Principle of Room Heater – Room Heater कैसे काम करता हैं? )

सर्दियों के मौसम में ठंड से बचने के लिए जिस उपकरण का इस्तेमाल घरों पर किया जाता हैं

उसे Room Heater कहते हैं। यह बिजली से चलती हैं और घर के कमरों पर गर्मी बनाए रखता हैं

जिससे हम ठंड के प्रकोप से सुरक्षित रहते हैं। बाज़ार में कोई तरह के Room Heater उपलब्ध है।

कुछ Room Heater पर छोटे आकार के पंखे भी होते हैं जिसके द्वारा गर्मी की उर्जा को कमरों में फैलाया जाता हैं।

दरअसल Room Heater पर मिश्रित धातु का बना हुआ Elements होता है जिसे विज्ञान

की भाषा में Alloy कहते हैं। Room Heater पर इस्तेमाल होने वाली Alloy को NICHROME

कहते है जो Nickel और Chromium के मिश्रण से बनता हैं। NICHROME बिजली के संपर्क

में आते ही विद्युत् उर्जा (Electrical Energy) को उष्ण उर्जा (Heat Energy) में परिवर्तित

कर देता हैं जिससे कमरों में गर्मी बनी रहती हैं और हमें सर्दी के ठंड से राहत मिलता हैं।

NICHROME की जिन खासियत के कारण विद्युत् उर्जा, उष्ण उर्जा में परिवर्तित हो जाता हैं

उनका निम्नलिखित विवरण कुछ इस तरह हैं-

1. Nichrome के तार पर जितनी ज्यादा मात्रा में बिजली की धारा (Current) प्रवाह होती है उतनी ज्यादा मात्र में उष्ण उर्जा भी पैदा होता है।
2.  जितनी ज्यादा मात्रा में बिजली की धारा के खिलाफ Nichrome के तार पर प्रतिरोध (Resistance) पैदा होता हैं उतनी ज्यादा मात्रा में उष्ण उर्जा भी पैदा होता है।
3. इस Nichrome के तार पर बिजली की धारा (Current) प्रवाह होने में जितना ज्यादा समय (time) की खपत होती हैं उतनी ज्यादा मात्रा में उष्ण उर्जा भी पैदा होता है।

इसके अलावा पानी को गर्म करने वाला Imersion Road, Geysers, आदि भी इसी वैज्ञानिक सिद्धांत पर काम करता हैं।

2. Greater is the resistance generated against the flow of electric current on the wire of Nichrome, the more is the amount of heat energy produce.
3. More is the time consume in the flow of current on the wire of Nichrome, the more is the amount of heat energy produce.
