NIFTY और SENSEX, यह दोनों ऐसे शब्दों हैं जिनका उल्लेख आये दिन शेयर मार्किट
से जुड़े खबरों में होता रहता है। टीवी चनेलों और अख़बारों के माध्यम से हमे यह मालूम
होता है की NIFTY और SENSEX के रूप में शेयर मार्किट के सूचकांक में कितना

NIFTY और SENSEX, शेयर मार्किट की INDEX होता है। कंपनी की शेयर्स की वित्तीय प्रदर्शन
से देश की वित्तीय हालात का पता चलता है। स्टॉक एक्सचेंज में हजारों कंपनी पंजीकृत है
और यह बिलकुल भी संभव नही है हर कंपनी की स्टॉक का पता किया जा सके। इसके लिए
कुछ ऐसे बड़े कंपनियों को सैंपल (Sample) के तौर पर चयन किया जाता है जो स्टॉक एक्सचेंज
के सभी कंपनियों का प्रतिनिधित्व कर सके। इसी सैंपल (Sample) को INDEX कहते है।
NSE का INDEX को NIFTY कहते है और BSE का INDEX को SENSEX कहते है।
BSE का SENSEX को संपूर्ण रूप से SENSITIVE INDEX कहते है और इसके लिए
30 बड़ी कंपनियों को चयन किया जाता है। दूसरी और, NSE का NIFTY को संपूर्ण रूप
से NATIONAL FIFTY कहते है और इसके लिए 50 बड़ी कंपनियों को चयन किया जाता है।

- BSE और NSE की चयन किया गया बड़ी बड़ी कंपनियों का वित्तीय प्रदर्शन से SENSEX और NIFTY की गणना होती है।
- NIFTY और SENSEX के द्वारा सभी बड़े कंपनियों का कार्य क्षेत्र देखा जा सकता है।
- जब भी NIFTY और SENSEX की उछाल या गिरावट नजर आता है, निवेशक की भावना भी उजागर हो जाता है। इसी भावना के कारण शेयर्स की खरीदारी और बिक्री होती है।
- निवेशक की सकारात्मक भावना से NIFTY और SENSEX में उछाल आता है और नकारात्मक भावना से गिरावट देखा जाता है।
