The professional training programme for learners to gain experience so as to become a skilled worker is called Apprentice. It is a part of Skill Development Programme launched by Government of India. Under this programme, the educated unemployed youths of the nation can participate in this programme, undergo various training, explore their hidden talents and can gain experience so that in further due course of time he/she enable himself/herself to become self reliant without much dependent on the limited job vacancies in Government and Private Sectors.
Presently, State Bank of India is hiring for the post of 8500 apprentices. Any Graduate candidate from recognized university of age group 20 – 28 years can register themselves online through any one of the following websites mentioned as under:

SBI APPRENTICE: व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से प्राप्त होने वाली शिक्षा/अनुभव, जिससे व्यक्ति में कुशल कार्यकर्ता बनने की क्षमता विकसित होता है, उसे APPRENTICE कहा जाता है। यह भारत सरकार द्वारा शुरू किए गए कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम का एक हिस्सा है। इस कार्यक्रम में राष्ट्र के शिक्षित बेरोजगार युवा भाग ले सकते हैं, विभिन्न प्रशिक्षणों से गुजर सकते हैं, अपनी अंदर छिपी हुई प्रतिभाओं को जान सकते हैं और अनुभव प्राप्त कर सकते हैं ताकि आने वाले समय में वह स्वयं सक्षम और आत्मनिर्भर बन सके बिना सरकारी और निजी क्षेत्रों में सीमित नौकरी की रिक्तियों पर निर्भर होकर।
वर्तमान में, भारतीय स्टेट बैंक 8500 APPRENTICE पदों के लिए भर्ती कर रहा है। 20 से 28 वर्ष की आयु के मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से कोई भी स्नातक उम्मीदवार निम्न में से किसी एक वेबसाइट के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण कर सकता है:
