गणित का ज्ञान होना या न होना कोई मुद्दा का विषय नही है, लेकिन यह एक ऐसा विषय है जिसका इस्तेमाल हर कोई अपने दैनिक कार्य में हमेशा से इस्तेमाल करता आया हैं और आगे भी करता रहेगा। लेकिन गणित के अध्यन से नये नये कार्य का क्षेत्र खोला जाना और अनुसंधान के जरिये विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी को बढ़ावा एक बड़ी उपलब्धी के तौर पर देखा जा रहा हैं। इतिहास के स्वर्णिम अक्षरों में दर्ज उन महानतम गणितज्ञों को कोटी-कोटी नमन जिनकी योगदान और कठिन परिश्रम के चलते मानव सभ्यता एक नई शिखर पर कदम रख चूका है।

इन्ही में से एक महानतम गणितज्ञ Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan

के जन्म तिथि की स्मरण हेतु हर साल २२ दिसंबर को भारत में राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस के

रूप में मनाया जाता हैं। इस दिवस की शुरुवात पहली बार २२ दिसंबर २०१२ को

किया गया था। Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan का जन्म २२ दिसंबर

१८८७ को मद्रास/चेन्नई से लगभग ४०० किलोमीटर दूर स्थित Erode नगर में हुआ था।

बचपन से ही इनको गणित में रूचि रहा और इनकी गणना उन महान वैज्ञानिकों

में की जाती हैं जिन्होंने विश्व में नये ज्ञान को पाने, खोजने और समझने के

साथ साथ नई-नई कीर्तिमान भी हासिल किया।

जीवन में नैतिक शिक्षा का महत्त्व (हमारा अस्तिव उम्र के हिसाब से नही अपितु कर्मों के हिसाब से हैं)

राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस देश के विभिन्न स्कूलों, कलेजों, विश्व-विद्यालयों और शेक्षिक-संस्थानों में मनाया जाता हैं। International Society UNESCO और भारत ने गणित सिखने और समझ को फैलाने के लिए साथ साथ मिलकर काम करने पर सहमती व्यक्त की थी। साथ ही छात्र को गणित में शिक्षित करने के लिए विभिन्न कदम उठाएं और दुनियाभर में छात्रों और शिक्षार्थियों के लिए ज्ञान का प्रसार किया। इलाहाबाद में स्थित सबसे पुराना विज्ञानं Academy जिनका नाम National Academy of Sciences India हैं,

वहां पर गणित और Ramanujan के अनुप्रयोगों में कार्यशाला का आयोजन करती हैं

और देशभर से लोकप्रिय Lecturers और विशेषज्ञ भाग लेते हैं। इस दिन विशेष तौर

पर देश और विश्व स्तर पर Srinivasa Ramanujan के गणित के योगदान के बारे

में बताया जाता हैं। भारत के हर राज्य में अलग अलग तरीकों से राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस

मनाया जाता हैं। स्कुल, कलेज, आदि पर विद्यार्थी के द्वारा इस पर्व को मनाना

उनके गणित के प्रति रूचि को बखूबी दर्शाता हैं।

Srinivasa Ramanujan महानतम गणितज्ञ में से एक हैं जिनकी योगदान से भारत के साथ साथ पुरे विश्व में गणित को एक नया अर्थ ओर पहचान मिला है। इसीलिए इन्हें “गणितज्ञों का गणितज्ञ” भी कहा गया हैं। अपने बहुत ही कम उम्र में इन्होने Trigonometry जैसे जटिल विषयों पर महारत हासिल कर लिया था और अपने बलबूते पर ही, बिना किसी के सहायता से कोई सारें Theorems भी विकसित किये।

उसकी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा काफी संघर्ष भरा और कष्टदायक रहा। खस्ता

आर्थिक स्थिति के कारण अपने दोस्तों से किताबें उधार लेकर पढ़ाई करता था।

लेकिन उनकी लगातार अथक प्रयास और कड़ी मेहनत के चलते आख़िरकार

उन्हें England के Oxford University में पढाई करने का अवसर प्रदान हुआ।

वहां उनकी प्रतिभा को बखूबी पहचाना गया जिसके बाद पुरे विश्व में उन्होंने गणित

विषय को लेकर नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया। Ramanujan ने बिना किसी

सहायता के बहुत सारे Results, Identities और Equations को विकसित

किया। उनके कोई सारे Theorems तो ऐसे भी थे जिससे गणित ही नही बल्कि

विज्ञान में भी नये नये कार्यों का क्षेत्र खोला गया और रिसर्च करने के लिए भी नई तरह की प्रेरणा मिला।

Ramanujan की उपलब्धी Riemann Series, The Elliptic Integrals, Hyper Geometric Series, Zeta Function आदी पर आधारित हैं। संख्या 1729 Ramanujan number से प्रसिद्ध है। Ramanujan काफी परिश्रम स्वाभाव के व्यक्ति थे जिसके कारण उनका स्वास्थ पर बुरा असर होने लगा था

और बहुत ही कम उम्र मात्र ३२ साल में ही उनका निधन हो गया।

मृत्यु के पश्चात उनके Theorems को प्रकाशित किया गया और

कोई सारे Theorems तो ऐसे भी थे जिन्हें सुलझाने में दशक लग गए।

इसमें कोई दो राय नही की Ramanujan द्वारा गणित के क्षेत्र में की गई खोज

आज के आधुनिक गणित और विज्ञान की आधारशिला बनी। भारत के

साथ साथ पूरा विश्व Ramanujan की योगदानो को हमेशा याद रखेगा।

National Mathematics Day was celebrate for the first time on 22 December 2012 on the 125th Birth Anniversary of Sir Ramujan. Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan was born on 22nd December 1887 in Erode Nagar at a distance 400 km (approx.) from Madras/Chennai.

Since childhood, Sir Ramujan has been interested in Mathematics

and he is count among the great scientists who establish

new knowledge of Mathematics in the world as well as achieved new records.

The International Society UNESCO and India agreed to spread the vast knowledge of Mathematics worldwide. Srinivasa Ramanujan is one of the greatest Mathematicians whose contribution has given a new definition and recognition to Mathematics in India as well as all over the world. That is why, he is call “Mathematicians of Mathematician”. At his very young age, he had gained mastery over Advance Trigonometry of Mathematics and, on his own, developed Theorems without taking any help from anyone. His early education was quite struggling and painful.

Due to his financial constraints, he took books from his friends for study purpose. His relentless efforts and his hard work finally gave him the opportunity to study at Oxford University, England. His talent was recognized well there, after which he establish a new record in the whole world about Mathematics. Ramanujan developed many Results, Identities, Equations, Theorems etc., without any help from others. Some of his Theorems too opened up new fields of work

not only in Mathematics but also in Science & Technology

and got a new kind of inspiration to do research works related.

Ramanujan was a man of very diligent nature, due to which his health condition was affect and he took his last breath at the very young age of 32 years. After his death,

his Theorems were publishbut took decades to prove the Theorems.

There is no doubt that the discovery made by Ramanujan in the field
